Healthcare executive with 15+ years experience with broad experience that includes clinical practice, hospital administration, healthcare policy (payment reform), academia and pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Fraile is responsible for the digital transformation of the Moderna's research and clinical development portfolio through the implementation of new capabilities and the design of novel business models rooted in innovative digital medicine technologies and human-centric engagement.

She previously served as Chief Data & Digital Officer and Head of Innovation at Novartis Oncology where she lead the data and digital transformation of the US division. Accountable to enable the strategic pillars of clinical innovation, value, and best patient journey by leveraging and exploring data, digital and analytics across medical, commercial, market access and external strategic partnership across the healthcare industry (healthcare providers, payers, employers, patient communities, biotech and digital health companies). Previously she led the Population Health Management and Enterprise Analytics team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, founding member of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, and federally designated comprehensive cancer center.

Passionate about the intersection between healthcare innovation, biotechnology, data and digital, healthcare policy (implementation of payment reform) and overall health systems evolution on their current delivery models to improve meaningful patient outcomes, both in the USA context and abroad. She studies the use of analytics and digital tools to enable innovative cost effective care for patients.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from MIT, a Master of Science (MSc) on Health Care Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health and a MD from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.
She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2010).
