Jonathan Ozeran

Vice President, Generative AI at Tempus AI

Jonathan is an early team member at Tempus where he currently serves as Vice President, Generative AI and Head of Tempus One, focused on search, artificial intelligence and provider-facing tools. He has been building and delivering scaled software products across both the consumer and enterprise space for over 15 years in a number of industries including healthcare, life science, telemedicine, genomics, mobile commerce, security, human capital, and talent acquisition.

Jonathan is also an inventor, with a portfolio of 7 issued patents and 8 patents pending, spanning AI, healthcare, clinical trials and IoT. His issued patents include innovations in AI-driven clinical data structuring, automated quality assurance for clinical data and IoT applications for animal health.

In addition to his role at Tempus, Jonathan is deeply involved in the venture ecosystem as an advisor and limited partner to several venture funds as well as family offices. He also supports early-stage and growth-phase companies as an investor and advisor, helping founders and founding teams navigate and resolve challenges at each inflection point.

Jonathan holds a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan. As an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern, he has taught courses on product design, software engineering and emerging technologies. In addition, Jonathan has been a guest lecturer at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he shares his expertise on AI, product innovation and leadership with MBA candidates. He has also contributed as a guest judge for the University of Chicago’s New Venture Challenge, evaluating and advising early-stage startups competing in one of the nation’s top accelerator programs.
