Genomics England: with Baroness Nicola Blackwood & Chris Wigley

Genomics England is was established to implement the 100,000 Genomes Project, sequencing whole genomes from NHS patients with rare diseases, and their families, as well as patients with cancer. The initiative marked a significant step in advancing the field of genomic medicine in the UK. They equip researchers to find the causes of disease and develop new treatments – with patients and participants at the heart of it all.
